On October 20, 2017, the Dallas Women’s Foundation hosted its 32nd annual luncheon. Of course, the event was a success thanks to its many attendees. Yes, over 1,300 individuals were present here and many of these individuals were business, civic and community leaders. In addition to the attendees, NexBank SSB played a role by gifting $100,000.
One of the best features of this event is that it offers a keynote address. For 2017, Dr. Hope Jahren was the guest speaker, and this woman is one of the most productive females in society. One of her biggest achievements is that she was named as one of Time Magazine’s Top 100 influential people. On top of that, Dr. Jahren has held many prominent job positions such as being a tenured professor in Honolulu at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Jaren is also a best-selling author as well as an award-winning scientist. The Dallas Women’s Foundation was held at Dallas’ Hilton Anatole Hotel. Over 10,000 students got a chance to view the keynote address thanks to live streaming. On the other hand, NexBank SSB has always seemed to lend a hand in progressive movements such as this.
