He is behind a series of very successful online companies. FitnessHeaven started it all for Don Ressler, an online company that specialized in home fitness products, FitnessHeaven was so successful that in 2001 Intermix Media bought the company and Don Ressler’s fabulous career was just getting started.

It wasn’t long before Don Ressler and Adam Goldenberg formed Alena Media an ecommerce and performance advertising division for Intermix Media. Shortly thereafter Alena Media was Intermix’s only profitable division, generating hundreds of millions of dollars. In 2005 News Corp acquired Intermix Media but it wasn’t long before Don  and Adam realized the media giant was going to ignore the tremendously successful company they had created. Deciding they didn’t have to stay with News Corp, the decision was made to leave the company and explore other opportunities together.

Ressler and Goldenberg, confident they had the expertise to succeed in the rapidly growing field of online performance advertising, decided to form a company they could manage themselves. After discussions with former team members, Brand Ideas was born. It wasn’t long before Brand Ideas became known as Intelligent Beauty in 2006. Intelligent Beauty has become an industry giant that retails wellness and health products, cosmetics and other beauty related items as well as fashion items such as shoes, handbags, and jewelry all online.

The partners first created an online skincare and cosmetics company known as DERMSTORE that was shortly followed by a weight-loss system known as SENSA. Because of the tremendous success of these two online start-ups, Don Ressler and Adam Goldenberg were able to secure $43 million in additional funding.

Intelligent Beauty launched the third company in 2010, the wildly successful JustFab. JustFab is a subscription-based ecommerce fashion retailer that had over 6 million members by April 2012. making it possible for the partners to secure another $76 million for future projects on

JustFab’s tremendous success in the first two years inspired Don and Adam to explore new markets. After realizing that many of their customers were parents, JustFab decided to seek a children’s fashion subscription service, so in January 2013 they bought FabKids. Later in that same year, they acquired the European fashion site, The Fab Shoes. The Fab Shoes purchase added 500,000 new members in Europe and by the end of 2013 JustFab had over 3 million European subscribers
